Allow options for customizing pay rates

If one employee works two different positions that pay differently (cook vs bartender), they should have 2 rates and should be broken down when doing payroll. Allow the option for pay to be done per shift instead of per hour. Allow an overtime rate to be chosen, as well as holiday rates. Include Salary as an option.

Hi Everyone! We just released individual pay rates per position! You can read about it here: https://help.zoomshift.com/article/64-managing-team-members

I put this request in almost 3 years ago, and its the most highest voted feature request. WhenIWork has this feature, so I've attached screenshots. As my company is growing into multiple locations with more and more employees, I will soon not be able to use zoomshift for timekeeping if this doesnt get fixed.

Casey LeFever: Hi Casey, This feature is currently being designed. I understand 3 years is a long time, and we appreciate your patience. Adjusting how pay works will impact all of ZoomShift, so we are making sure we cover all our bases to deliver this feature in the right way. We hope it will move into Development soon and be ready for customers this year.

Brooke Eisner: Is there an update here?
Brooke Eisner
NCFIT Accounting: Hi, it is being designed currently, as adjusting Pay Rates changes the Team Member Form, as well as adjusts how PTO and such would work. So, we want to make sure all of the bases are covered once it gets into customer hands.

The ability for an organization to decide if a position/location is to be paid based on the employee pay rate or a set post rate.
The ability for an organization to add a pay premium to certain positions/locations.
The ability to determine which days employees get paid "Holiday Pay" for as well as decide if it is a rate multiplier or a fixed rate.
Allow organizations to create pay codes which can be set to specific positions making it so that admins can determine whether hours worked under a specific position are payable and impacts overtime calculations. Example: On-call, an employee may be scheduled to be on-call for 12hrs. The 12-hrs that employee is on-call without being activated should be payable, nor should those hours impact overtime calculations.

We're investigating a good solution for this scenario, to enable Managers to easily track wages for workers who perform multiple duties during a shift at different rates, as well as track the activities of salaried team members. I'll post more updates here, as they happen!

I have to hide totals from everyone because it is wage based only and confuses staff on salary. Salary workers still need attendance tracked and time off requests etc but the payroll and dollar values in totals should reflect their salary rather than as a wage which would in most cases be incorrect for that persons employment contract.
